Mentioning your website in my country wide push for legislation

Hi Everyone,

After trying to push this legislation through by my lonesome self the last 3-years, I have just been advised that my federal “Public Land Access” legislation has been held up in D.C. due to a need for petitions and letters of constituent (citizens) support. I will be sending requests for petitions, letters, etc. to every club, organization, rights group, etc. I can think of all over the U.S. Your personal help is extremely needed.

This need for a new federal law affects every recreational use of U.S. public lands from off-road use of horses/mules to picking up pretty rocks on public land. Further, try using a metal detector to look for a gold nugget, or looking for relics in old Ghost towns. For our protection many if not most old ghost towns are being bulldozed to return the landscape back to the way it was before “evil men” moved through, in the spread of civilization across our country.

True story: http://www.wwats.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=39&POSTNUKESID=006418fd2d02eaf59ac3afd4561f8ef4

In Alabama, two men retrieved a civil war musket rifle and a tobacco tin from a “state” river and were arrested. Two years later (and tons of legal fees) the river-relic hunters were found “not guilty” on one count but found “guilty” on another. Some state laws are as bad as federal laws concerning “public land” access; re: We now live in a Public beware country concerning our public land!!!! When did our public land become “government land”?

Another true story: Re: Bureau of Reclamation

“There is a real inability of the Bush Administration to be able to see that they are buying into the green agenda and destroying public use for thousands of recreationalist's.”

I don’t know if you are aware but over the last 30 years “the public” has lost most of their public land rights. I’m sure you are aware of the Eminent Domain law debacle that was actually upheld in the U.S. Supreme Court last year. If we don’t fight to keep our rights, don’t expect the courts to do it for us.

This website has the most documentation concerning land rights: http://www.propertyrightsresearch.org/

Along the left side of her home page there is a very long list of reference links for research for those wanting more information as to how we lost our rights. She has an email list numbering in the thousands. There are many more “public land access” websites out there but writing (pen and paper) letters to Arizona Congressman Rick Renzi is our best hope of getting actual legislation passed that will wipe out 30 years of incremental stealing of our public land rights.

What we need is a massive letter writing campaign in support of the legislation to return our public land rights to “We The People”. The letters need to be addressed to:

Congressman Rick Renzi

102 N. Cortez, Suite 208

Prescott, AZ 86301.

I am asking that the letter writing and petitions be with pen and paper rather than email because Congressman Renzi’s staff has told me that it would be more effective if actually written and signed by each person.

In a nutshell the Bill (yet to be named) is to give “the public” full access to public lands again without filling out applications, getting permits, waiting for permission, paying ridiculous fees, etc. By the way; what do you think the name of the Bill should be????? _______________________ I was thinking it should be called the “Strole back onto Public Land” Bill.

If anyone wants an actual copy of the proposed legislation I will absolutely send it to you, but the general reader may not fully understand it. If you have any questions, please email your questions to deborahstrole@msn.com. Since I have junk mail filters built into my email client, please put “Legislation letter” in the subject line so I don’t delete it due to unknown sender name.

I also ask that you forward this email to anyone and everyone who will write a letter, accumulate a petition or otherwise create a mountain of mail for Congressman Rick Renzi.

That includes any other clubs of all kinds, public land access websites, etc.

Thanking you in advance from the bottom of my heart,

Deborah Strole
